Are you frustrated because of local policy and want to know how to make a difference? Cascade Policy Institute is hosting a series of free events to empower you to be involved in creating change. Not everyone can make policy their top priority, but everyone has the ability to make a difference.
State and local policies affect every Oregonian. Tax rates, road and building construction, gas and grocery prices, land use, energy creation, and education are just a few issues that matter. The policies being pushed in our state, however, can be frustrating when it feels as though we have no say.
Throughout 2024, we are hosting seminars around the state to teach you how to become an effective advocate for free-market policies. No matter what issues are important to you, we will teach you how to become an effective participant in local policy making. You do not have to be an elected official for your opinion to matter, you just have to be able to make your opinion known.
