Christina Martin is a policy analyst at Cascade Policy Institute. She directs the Asset Ownership Project and the School Choice Project and runs the Oregon Education Tax Credit Coalition (ORED).
In 2010, Christina was appointed to the Oregon Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. She volunteers with legal aide services to help low-income individuals get basic legal help.
Christina moved to Portland in 2008 and became a member of the Oregon Bar Association shortly thereafter. She is a graduate of Ave Maria School of Law in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In law school, she was a Senior Editor for the Ave Maria Law Review. Christina earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication at the University of Washington. While at the UW, she played trumpet in the Husky Marching Band.
Interests: Swing dancing, drawing and painting, and finding Portland’s best burger.
